Before you place an order

Use this guide to prepare your questions and review your quotation. It provides general purchasing information and does not replace your written quotation, product documentation or accepted order agreement.

Quotes and order acceptance

Check that your written quotation identifies the seller, requested products, approved specifications and steps for accepting the order. An inquiry or unaccepted quotation does not create an order. Ask for any differences between the quotation and other documents to be clarified in writing before you commit.

Scope, price and payment

Review the supply scope, price, taxes, freight, payment schedule and any required deposit in your quotation. Confirm the payment methods and when processing, sourcing or production can begin. Ask about any additional charges before accepting the order.

Order commitments, changes and cancellation

Before accepting a quotation, review the provisions for changes, cancellations, returns and exchanges, including any deposit treatment. Sourcing, allocation or production commitments may affect the options available. Send change or cancellation requests in writing and obtain confirmation of any effect on specifications, price or timing. Refer to your accepted agreement and contact our team for guidance on your particular order.

Marine and site suitability

The buyer and qualified professionals must verify dimensions, water and site conditions, loads, anchoring and piling design, corrosion exposure, water-level changes and component compatibility. Supply of a component does not approve the installed project. Installation, engineering, permits, site preparation and marine construction are excluded unless separately agreed in writing. Capacity, buoyancy, storm resistance, durability or compliance must be assessed against verified documentation for the exact product and conditions; no project-wide guarantee is created by this website.

Specifications, variation and warranties

Review the exact product specifications and any stated manufacturer tolerances before ordering, including dimensions, color and finish where relevant. Request the available warranty documentation and check who provides it, what it covers and how to make a claim. Do not assume that a component warranty covers an entire installed project. Report incorrect or damaged goods with your order reference and supporting details.

Delivery, title and risk

Review the delivery destination, freight arrangements, site access, unloading responsibilities and receiving instructions in your quotation. Confirm how title and risk of loss are addressed in the accepted agreement, and ask about the process for delays, damage or carrier claims. See the Ordering and Delivery Guide for additional planning information.
